I got started welding in high school and after graduating in 2003 I went on to Modern Welding School in the Albany area. After that I spent 9 years as a certified welder in the aerospace industry and eventually moved on to work in several areas of manufacturing like welding, CNC machining and a little bit of automotive customs.

In 2020 I decided I needed a change in life and I was ready to be my own boss. D&G was founded July 1st, 2020 just 4 days after quitting my job in manufacturing. My goal was to start a business where all of the different skills I had learned over the last 16 years could be packed into a truck and brought to the customer or the contractors job site.

Aside from being a fully mobile welding service, we also offer in house welding, professional TIG welding for aluminum, stainless steel or magnesium and custom fabrication. Most of my time in the field is spent repairing heavy equipment or agricultural equipment but I also find myself doing food grade stainless work in bars or restaurants from time to time. We also have a small blacksmith shop where I make fire pokers, bottle openers and some artistic items.
